My mentor. It's nice when people believe in me! Mark Klampe, owner of Goonie's Comedy Club, Rochester, MN

Tired and burned-out, I quit my day job as a psychotherapist and hospice social worker to come back to my first love, the stage.
I did my first open mic at the age of 54 and quickly rose through the ranks to being a regular emcee and now a feature. Fueled with material about my wild past, my husband and our 5 kids, I have been really pleased with audience responses to my humor.
My family thought I was completely off my rocker at first, but after seeing me perform they realized I was not only funny but pursuing my dream completely changed my outlook on life, and I've never been happier!
